My College Friends
We have a
very fine day that day, 2nd semester 2001 - 2002 at Ateneo de Davao University.
I don't know why but we gather together and proposed, out of nothing, to take a
picture of our class. Everyone got very excited, me too, and everyone starts to
discuss things on where to take the picture. At last, we decided to have the
shots at Ilustre (a street in Davao City where photo studios lined up). Everyone
got there full of enthusiasm. The photo center became very crowded, not only
with people but with noises and laughter also. And the results were the photos
below.
The second one are talkative, (sorry rock and marbs) these are the people that gave birth of the term salto. They are the noisiest in class, the wackiest, and easy go lucky people. From time to time, our teachers remind them of their noises because they always compete the teachers in talking. They will talk the whole time and who the hell cares where they get their unending stories as if you could compile them in a 20 million volume library. And during exams, to get high scores, they use magic. (Joke lang).
Fifthly, the
biz people, (sorry Noy, Lloyd and Dens again). They are the business minded
people of the class. Even though they don't excel much in academics but the
really excel outside. Aside from being a student they're also businessman. They
will dedicate their time to explore the world of business in their own little
way like entering into a networking company, or having a work in any
establishment or engaging themselves into family business. Lastly, the indifferent type. There's only one also who master this art and it is me. They say I'm weird. At times, they will find me staring blankly outside the classroom, rarely join parties, do not care about anything in the class, what comes will go. But you know, I'm not the geek type (defensive :)), its just their chaotic to look at.
When the
other five types group together, I feel dizzy. What a mixture, It's like
drinking a Coke with vinegar. Even though they're topsy-turvy to look at,
they're still beautiful. As an observer, I enjoy looking them relate each other.
They complement each other like nuts and bolts. (huh? I'm confused?!? I thought
I said they're chaotic)
